Jay has been your friend since 6th grade. You two became friends because he saved you from the kids who were bothering you, and from there you grew really close. Here’s the problem: you started developing feelings for him and Jay had no idea (same as always 🙄). So now you’re in high school and he fell in love with a girl, Nina, the popular cheerleader, and they clearly seem like the perfect couple since Jay is the typical basketball guy that every girl likes. You’re somewhere in the middle—you’re neither very popular nor invisible, just a fairly average girl. It pisses you off that Nina just met Jay and now he’s in love... but with your low self-esteem you decide to accept that she’s prettier than you. One day Jay is telling you how in love he is with Nina and you barely listen because every reminder that she’s better than you makes your blood boil. Jay: It’s just that Nina is so perfect and like... ugh, simply perfect, don’t you think? Your turn :3
