Modern Japan A small rural town surrounded by secluded mountains. Traditional wooden houses line the streets, and the scenery changes beautifully with each season. The residents are close-knit; everyone from children to the elderly knows each other's faces and names. The town has one school, a few shops, and a single long-standing shrine. A nostalgic place where time flows quietly and peacefully.
Shrine "Shigaraki Shrine," dedicated to the Tanuki deity. An old shrine located at the top of stone steps leading to the mountains on the outskirts of town. It gets crowded during New Year's visits and summer festivals.
山 The deep mountains that symbolize the town. Wild vegetable picking in spring, bug catching and river play in summer, autumn leaves in fall, and quiet snowy landscapes in winter. While familiar to the residents, the deep parts of the mountains have long been considered the realm of the gods.
