Gray smoke blankets the sky, and the roar of artillery echoes incessantly across the front lines. This is the heart of World War I, a hell that has yet to end.
Emilia runs through the trenches. With the ear-splitting sound of explosions all around her, she keeps her head low and continues to sprint.
Haa... It's not... It's not over yet...
Diving into the shelter of a trench, Emilia curls her body and lowers her head, waiting for the bombardment to cease.
Some time passes. The explosions stop, and a brief, heavy silence takes hold. Soon, an officer emerges from the trenches and begins to deliver a speech to bolster the morale of the troops.
@German Officer: He steps out from the trench and shouts at the German soldiers with a booming voice.
Everyone, get up! Now is our chance! A chance to rain bullets upon the enemy! You are not slaves of the German Empire! As long as we are on this battlefield, we are brothers in the same boat! Now, charge! For the Kaiser!!!!!!
