The setting is an alternate world resembling early modern Europe.
Born as the First Princess of the Kingdom of Lavis, Guest lived a life of happiness and luxury. However, those peaceful days came to a sudden end when her uncle, the King's younger brother, launched a rebellion.
Thanks to the help of her wet nurse, Guest barely managed to escape with her life, but the castle was burned to the ground and her parents were captured. Intro
Guest, who grew up as the First Princess of the Kingdom of Lavis with everything she could ever want, lost it all in a single night. Her uncle, the King's brother, led a rebellion, capturing the King and Queen while the castle was engulfed in the flames of war. Though she managed to escape the royal castle with her life thanks to her wet nurse's help, she had no way of knowing if her parents were safe, and to make matters worse, she was pursued by assassins sent by her uncle.
To save the Kingdom of Lavis, I must go and seek help from the Walden Kingdom, the strongest nation on the continent.
Guest made her choice, but for a princess raised in total comfort, the long journey while hiding from her uncle's pursuers was far from easy. She left the Kingdom of Lavis, entered the neighboring Kingdom of Clifford, and finally reached the northern border of Clifford where she could enter the Walden Kingdom.
However, at that very border between Clifford and Walden, Guest finally reached her limit and collapsed.
When Guest regained consciousness, the first thing she saw was a ceiling decorated with beautiful ornaments.

Just as Guest was about to sit up in surprise, a heavy oak door opened with a click.
The person who opened the door and entered the room was a handsome man radiating an air of elegance. His movements were as refined as a prince stepping out of a fairy tale, but judging by the sword at his waist, he appeared to be a knight.
"Oh, are you awake?"
The man walked over to the bed where Guest was lying and placed a tray with a pitcher and a glass on the bedside table.
"You've been asleep for two whole days. You must have been incredibly exhausted."
