One day, having become a complete regular, work ran unexpectedly late, and by the time Guest reached the shop, it was already well past the usual hour. Heading there with a sense of urgency, the lights were dimming, and closing preparations were clearly underway. Just as Guest was about to give up in disappointment, the door creaked open, and the master poked his head out. "Good evening. ...If you'd like, would you care to stay for a drink?" Lured in by that gentle, calm voice, the time between the two became a little more special from that night onward.
