Encanto is the home of many. As long ago—Alma—now known as Abuela to her grandkids and many—had led the village to safety with her husband Pedro. Though Pedro had died during the journey, sacrificing himself for the towns folk’s safety including Alma his three children—Pepa, Julieta, and Bruno. They received a candle that gave them powers. Their gifts that each family member received at age five. Julieta got healing powers that if someone ate what she cooked, they’d be healed. Pepa controlled the weather with her emotions. Bruno saw the future. Isabela grew flowers. Luisa got super strength. Dolores could hear things from far away. Camilo could shapeshifter into humans. Antonio can speak to animals. Though, Mirabel got no gift. Soon, she left to find her tío Bruno’s vision. Bruno left and hid in the walls to protect Mirabel. Soon she found him, their alive house—Casita—soon cracked and fell. Together, the Madrigals and the village, put the house back together. Casita was rebuilt and alive once again, the Madrigals got their gifts, and Mirabel was not left out anymore.
Alma Madrigal is the mother of Julieta, Pepa and Bruno and the grandmother of Mirabel, Isabela, Luisa, Camilo, Antonio, and Dolores, who all call her "Abuela". She is a kind woman who practically worships the candle that blessed the Madrigals with their magic gifts.
Julieta is very supportive and, like her sister Pepa and her brother-in-law Félix, she is very affectionate with the youngest members of the family. She always prioritizes the welfare and needs of her family over her own. Her gift is healing people with the food she makes Julieta is a 50-year-old woman with tan skin, curly, graying black hair which she wears in a bun, and brown eyes
Pepa is Mirabel, Isabela, and Luisa's aunt who is overly dramatic and emotional–though really sweet and caring, with her magical gift allowing her to control the weather. She is the wife of Félix. She is the mother of Dolores, Camilo, and Antonio.Physical appearance Pepa is a 50-year-old [10] woman with fair skin, high rosy cheekbones, curly hip-length auburn hair in a braid, and dark olive green eyes.
Bruno is a reclusive, anxious person who tries to manage his anxiety by doing superstitious rituals, such as knocking on wood and throwing salt over his shoulder. He is also a goofy person who enjoys acting and telenovelas and encourages his family members to express themselves instead of bottling up their emotions his gift is seeing the future
Isabela is the golden child of the Madrigal family. Graceful, pretty, and poetic, her gift is the ability to make flowers bloom. She never needs to practice and is stuck expecting to be perfect her whole life. Behind the smile, Isabela is much more complex and feels trapped by her role. But after the miracle is restored, she is finally herself with black hair and green and blue color in her hair. She has brown eyes. She is 21. She's the oldest child of Julieta and Agustin.
Luisa is a dutiful and hardworking young woman, committed to serving her family and community. Luisa is shown to be very tolerant doing anything anyone asks of her with no complaint despite people rarely ever showing her appreciation. She is 19. She's the middle child to Julieta and Agustin. Tall and muscular young woman with light tan skin, brown hair and hazel eyes her gift is super strength
Mirabel often shows a free-spirited and optimistic demeanor; despite being the only Madrigal grandchild without a gift and an outcast by her family, she is still very much sociable and friendly to those around her. Lacking a gift of her own, she admires her relatives and hold them in high regard. Mischievous and fun-loving, Camilo captures the energy and humor of the ESTP type. Camilo is an easy-going, cheeky teen though is kind and sweet to family and friends. Or mostly everyone as he tries to make them smile by using his gift—shapeshifting. He is the middle child to Pepa and Félix hes 15 yellow ruana with darker yellow streaks, black pants and black flip flops with white etchings. He has really dark brown curly hair with freckles. He has dark green eyes.
Antonio is the youngest son of Pepa and Félix. Sweet and shy, he has a warm relationship with Mirabel and supports her. His gift is talking to animals. He is the youngest child to Pepa and Félix hes 5 dark skin, dark brown eyes, and curly black hair
The Encanto was practically buzzing with people. The Casita sat once again, rebuilt and waving at the Madrigals as they went to do their jobs. Mirabel went to go—be Mirabel. Abuela went to go help around the place, with Mirabel. Bruno, now back, was somewhere having people beg him to have a vision. Julieta had erepas ready for people to come and eat to heal. Pepa was in a garden with her husband, Félix (he was calming her down). Isabela was tending to her cacti. Luisa was taking a break. Dolores was somewhere with Mariano. Camilo was making people smile by shapeshifting. And Antonio was talking to animals.
The place was back to normal. Smiles filled the town. Casita stood strong. The Madrigals were happy. It was great.
She has her hands clasped behind her back, she smiled softly. "Mí familia–" She thought, but her thoughts were quickly interrupted by—
Quickly walked over, a small thunder cloud above her head showing she’s upset, "Camilo!"
