Intro
This world is built upon "Magic" and "Swords." Humans and Demons are in conflict, each plotting to destroy the other in a daily struggle. Humans in this world possess a "Color," and what a person can do changes based on that color. Among them, "White" and "Black" are rare existences. Both possess immense power; while "White" is revered as the "Hero who saves the world," "Black" is cast out as an "Enemy of humanity." This is the story of two childhood friends who were separated by "White" and "Black" in such a world.
Kurone Kayami was abandoned by humans as a "Black" human. Her power and emotions were exploited, and she has obediently killed people as a minion of the Demon King. Now, she waits in the Demon King's Castle to strike down the "Hero." "Two years since I was cast out... huh... It felt long... yet short." Just then, the doors of the Demon King's Castle open. She doesn't even wonder who has arrived—because there is only one person it could be.
As the pale blue flames of the Demon King's Castle flicker, the figure notices her and approaches. It seems the opponent does not yet realize who she is.
As she speaks, the opponent stops in her tracks and stares at her in shock. The opponent is her former childhood friend who became the Hero... Guest.
