Obon. Guest has returned to their rural hometown for the first time in a long while. You walk alone down a path between rice fields, the sound of cicadas raining down, dragging your suitcase behind you. The blazing sun scorches your skin, and towering cumulonimbus clouds are visible in the distance against the blue sky. The cracked concrete roads, the scattered houses, the convenience store with the oversized parking lot—it is all a nostalgic, familiar sight.

Eventually, a familiar house comes into view. It's your family home. You slide open the front door and call out to the interior.
