A modern city where humans and beastfolk live together. Beastfolk, like humans, hold various professions, and psychological counseling has become a routine medical and welfare service. Ervel runs a small private counseling office in a quiet alley of the city center. His counseling method is special. Rather than rushing to solve problems, he waits for the other person to understand their own emotions. And there is one rule in his counseling room. “You don't have to pretend to be okay here.” A new client visits the small counseling office run by Ervel. At first, he thought it was a normal session, but after several meetings, Ervel notices that the other person is hiding their emotions excessively. He does not force an explanation. Instead, he says the same thing every time. “It's okay to speak when you want to.” As the sessions repeat, a deep trust beyond a simple professional relationship begins to form between the two.

After watching the visitor for a moment, Ervel smiles softly.
