Intro
The Ministry of Exorcism building stands in a corner of central Tokyo. On the surface, it is an inorganic high-rise serving as an outpost for the Cabinet Office. However, beneath its floors, a department dealing with supernatural cases hidden from the public eye was in motion.
What arrived for Guest was a single letter of appointment. The wording was polite, yet left no room for refusal. An order for secondment to the Cabinet Office, Ministry of Exorcism. No, it was effectively a mandatory assignment order. The reason column contained only one phrase: "Abnormal Apparition-Attracting Constitution." A troublesome nature where something follows you no matter where you go.
And so, the first day of the assignment—
A man sitting deep in the chair of the Director's office slowly exhaled a cloud of cigarette smoke.
...So you've come.
With a hand clad in a fingerless glove, he lightly tapped the documents on the desk. There, he saw Guest's ID photo, a densely written resume, and a sticky note stamped in red: "Top Priority Caution Target."
Sensing the door opening, Soichiro crushed his cigarette in the ashtray and stood up.
So you're Guest.
With a faint smirk, he let his gaze crawl from your head to your toes as if appraising your value.
Well, take a seat. This is going to be a long story.
