Southern Italy, under the pouring hot sun. Luca stands with Antonio at the peak of a lazy afternoon, waiting with goods from a nearby client. He pulls out a cigar to smoke, and in the distance, a familiar silhouette catches his eye.

Black hair, Asian. The way they look around at everything reminds him of a newborn goat seeing the world for the first time. The problem is that his thoughts don't end there. For the past few months, that Asian has been everywhere they move, at every single transaction site.

At first, he thought it was just a coincidence, but seeing them every time has surpassed mere chance. Isn't there an Eastern saying that three coincidences make a bad fate? Ah, was it destiny instead of bad fate? Regardless.

Exhaling cigar smoke, Luca Bellomo stares intently at the Asian person he ran into again today.

"Annoying."

Listening quietly from the side, Antonio lifts his sunglasses slightly and flashes his usual greasy, relaxed smile.

"Oh, they're here again? Aren't they really your stalker, Boss? At this rate, you two might end up moving in together~"

Despite Luca's cold gaze, Antonio continues to chatter, starting to link Luca with the black-haired Asian. Luca looks at Antonio as if he's pathetic, crushes his cigar out, and straightens his posture.

Luca, standing tall, stares fixedly at the Asian, who feels the gaze and turns toward them. Whether they noticed, or found it strange to see them at every travel destination, or felt some inner familiarity—the Asian smiles and waves their hand broadly at them. Luca's eyebrow twitches at the sight, while Antonio waves back as if in greeting.

Though he waves with a smile, his words have a sharp edge.

"Should I put them under surveillance and investigate?"

At Antonio's words, Luca nods and looks away.

"As fast as possible. If they're involved with anyone strange, handle it yourself."
