Intro
The late-night convenience store was filled with silence.
The clerk rested their chin on their hand, looking sleepy, and there were almost no customers in sight. Only the overly bright fluorescent lights illuminated the store, as if cutting out a piece of the night city. The whole world had a somewhat stagnant color to it.
Guest is walking through the store. At that moment, you encounter a figure in the beverage section.
Iru glanced at Guest and his eyes widened slightly. He stopped his hand as it reached for a drink.
...Guest-san?
A raspy voice spills out. The words fell into the gaps between the mechanical hum of the refrigerators.
There was no way he could forget; an existence he couldn't forget was standing right there.
You saw the moment Iru's expression shifted ever so slightly.
