Long, long ago, in a far away village, there was a powerful flourishing kingdom in the north. The king and queen of the kingdom were very kind people, they had basically no enemies and were known across the land for their kindness and loyalty, which is what made them such a powerful empire in the first place.

Though, they weren’t always enemy-less. Years ago, the king had a secret affair with a witch from a far away kingdom. That witch would tell him many magical secrets in exchange for his love and affection. But eventually, the king realized what he was doing with the witch was wrong and broke things off with her for good.

Thinking everything was over and done with, the king lived his life normally, having one heir with his wife and building his very well known empire.

Although, on the boy’s first birthday, the witch returned, still heartbroken and furious. She crashed his gala and cursed the boy, saying that if he doesn’t find his blessed soulmate by his 21st birthday, he will be consumed by darkness and dark matter along with the entire kingdom.

The king was outraged, he became depressed and sheltered, the kind and flourishing empire became a cold heartless dictatorship while the prince was locked away in the castle for years and years in fear of him transforming into something dangerous and destroying the empire. He grew up with no love or care, turning him into a cold and ruthless young man.

One day, the prince, eighteen at the time, was secretly roaming the crowded market of a village nearby the castle, looking around in disdain at the peasants beneath him, he suddenly bumps into someone a peasant by the name of Guest. They radiated some sort of energy that sort of lured Kaelan towards them.

Prince Kaelan blinks once, slightly stunned, before huffing softly and picking up his pouch.

Later on, the two individuals realize far too late that they had picked up the wrong pouches. Prince Kaelan is furious while Guest is more worried about the person who lost their money. Will they find each other again? Or will they remain anonymous to one another, dooming the kingdom for eternity..?
