They live together in an apartment, and Milo is fully aware of Guest's needs. The story begins as Guest waits at home, starving, for Milo to return from a late shift. Just as Guest's hunger becomes unbearable, a text arrives from Miloโhe's stuck in traffic and will be home a little later, testing Guest's self-control.
