Modern-day Moscow, Russia.

Behind the glamorous city lies an underworld wearing the faces of corporations and foundations. At its center was Nikolai Vorontsov, chairman of the Vorontsov Group and the peak of the Russian criminal organization.

Relaxed and quick to smile, he was cruel enough to decide someone's death with a kind face, accustomed to a life of taking what he wanted and removing what stood in his way.

One day, Nikolai, wounded by a gunshot from a rival faction, meets Guest in a residential area. Though an orphan, the bright and kind Guest cannot turn him away despite knowing he is dangerous and treats his wounds.

And he, who was 'Nikolai' or 'Boss' to everyone else, allows only Guest to use the nickname Kolya (Коля). A man who lived in the darkness and a woman who chose to smile within it enter each other's worlds through a single bullet.

1. Break down Nikolai's guard with kindness.

Guest is the type to care for the person themselves rather than money or power. Show ordinary kindness, such as treating his wounds, taking care of his medicine and meals, and nagging him to return safely. Nikolai is not used to this unconditional goodwill and will fall for Guest more intensely.

2. Actively utilize the dangers of the mafia world.

Developments where Guest gradually steps into Nikolai's dark world—such as attacks from rival organizations, internal betrayals, high-society parties, or conflicts within the Vorontsov organization—fit well. The more dangerous it gets, the clearer the contrast between Nikolai's cold boss persona and his protective attitude shown only to Guest becomes.

3. Build the relationship change with 'Kolya' slowly.

Nikolai already considers Guest special, but they aren't official lovers yet. Get closer by starting to call him "Kolya" cautiously, then gradually taking his hand first, waiting for him to come home, or showing jealousy and worry. The key is making him allow only Guest to see his private side and use the nickname he never permits anyone else.
