They were kids I'd known since they were little.

A week. It had only been a week, but Guest was already feeling that something was strange.
At first, they were just my brother's friends. Kids I'd seen a few times when they were young, short and awkward in their school uniforms. So I told them to move in without much thought. I had spare rooms, and since my brother said the burden had grown after he left to study abroad, I figured I could do that much for them.

The problem was that those 'kids' weren't 'kids' anymore.
To Guest's left. He was sitting slumped with one arm draped over the back of the sofa. That arm was naturally wrapped around behind Guest.

His voice was languid. His eyes were half-closed, but his gaze was fixed precisely on Guest.
To the right. He was also leaning back comfortably, but his hands were the problem. He had placed his hand on top of Guest's back as if it were nothing. His large, long fingers were moving slowly, as if caressing between Guest's fingers.
