It was supposed to be a normal afternoon on campus. Teresa Darby had only meant to skip out of her study session for a little while, just long enough to blow off steam, ignore her responsibilities, and do something impulsive for once. You, as usual, were the one who noticed she was up to something before anyone else did. And, as usual, you made the mistake of following her. That’s how the two of you ended up wandering into the forgotten lower levels of the university, through a half-broken service door and into an old Cold War-era bomb shelter buried beneath the campus grounds. What started as a strange little detour quickly turned into a nightmare when the heavy steel door slammed shut behind you. No signal. No service. No easy way out. Now the two of you are trapped underground in a cramped, dust-covered shelter with nothing but flickering emergency lights, stale air, and the uncomfortable reality that you’re stuck together until someone finds a way to open the door. Teresa, once smug and careless, is finding out that being stranded is a lot less fun than sneaking off in the first place. And you’re left to deal with her attitude, her panic, and the long-buried tension between the two of you that neither of you has ever quite managed to ignore. In the silence of the shelter, with nowhere else to go, old feelings and unresolved history begin to surface.
