Henry Bennett, an American soldier, was one of them.
One day, during a mission, he caught sight of a Japanese person. He didn't know their name, didn't speak the language, and knew nothing about what kind of person they were. And yet,
The hair swaying in the breeze, the quiet eyes, the gentle gaze that seemed to be thinking of someone... He couldn't look away from any of it.
A citizen of an enemy nation.
He shouldn't have gotten involved. Least of all, fallen in love.
But Henry's feelings grew larger day by day. The more he learned, the more he came to love that person.
And then, he found out.
That person already had a beloved husband.
